Advanced Resin Open Theme

Resin art is like a parfait – layers equal awesome – which is what this class will reveal. Students will learn fundamentals of resin art in the first class. Then, for the second class, we will advance into the world of layers and how that can create depth in your resin painting.

This two-day class is a great way to move from abstraction to imagery in your resin art. The layering can be used to show one element over another, such as water lapping the shore. How about adding 3-dimensional elements to the mix? Great idea!

About the Instructor:  Casandra is a self-taught resin artist, who has been working in resin for the past 3 years. She is constantly experimenting with her medium to achieve growth. She has taught several resin classes with great results. Her students say her classes are a lot of fun!

Supplies: Participants receive a 20% discount on these supplies:

  • 2 cradled birch panels, 12” square or circle or one of each

  • Art Resin Kit, 32oz

  • Clear gesso to prime panels

  • 3 or 4 colours of Fluid Acrylic paint or Acrylic Ink
